8.22.08 BOOTLEG TONIC II

So three weeks ago Georgiana calls me to tell me they FINALLY got booked at Helsinki.
So they do my show show Friday, Saturday they do an hour with Rishi, and Sat. night they do Helsinki. Georgiana tore the roof off the sucka. Staggering performance. There were a couple times there I was getting dizzy and I realized I was forgetting to breathe. And there was a decent crowd, I'm sure earning them a coveted spot in the Helsinki rotation. Not bad for complete unknowns. And the next time I think it's gonna be packed, because everybody who was there is gonna come back with three friends. We were in the presence of greatness, we're in on the ground floor, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

8.15.08 DOG DAY AFTERNOON

The new studio seems to encourage traffic we never had in the old one. People are dropping in and out all the time, I had nice visits from Todd Lewis and Chris Splendorio. Right now the Cheese Shack girls are in the studio singing along with Christina Aguilera at the tops of their lungs. I should sneak in and pop the mics on.
